Beginning Quilting - Flock Pattern



Learn the basics of quilt piecing while making this Large Flying Geese pattern, Flock by Josie Snyder. Choose Three Solids or experiment with other fabrics such as Batiks and large-scale prints.

All classes meet three Tuesday nights in March from 5:30pm - 8:00pm
Night One March 1st - Cutting and Prep
Night Two March 8th - Sewing and Assembly

Required Materials:

-Sewing machine in good working condition
-power cord
-foot control
-1/4" Presser Foot
-50wt cotton thread in neutral color
-100% Cotton Quilting Fabric 
-45mm Rotary Cutter
-18" x 24" Self Healing Cutting Mat
- 6.5" x 24" Creative Grids Ruler
-Seam Ripper
-Fabric Scissors
-Size 80/12 Universal machine needles
-Chalk pencil or water erasable marking pen (no Frixion pens!)


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Basic sewing machine familiarity is encouraged but not required.
