
Meadowland Quilt

This is another one of those patterns that looks GREAT in all fabrics! Fat Quarter Friendly pattern.
Class #1 - Discuss cutting. Get organized. Fabric selection if you still need help with that. Begin piecing blocks
Class #2 - Sewing! Constructing blocks
Class #3 - Sewing! Finish blocks and assemble the quilt
Plan Your Size and Select Fabrics based on the yardage amounts on the Pattern.
- Small Throw 48” x 48” OR 48“ x 64”
- Large Throw 64” x 64” OR 64“ x 80”
- Bed 80” x 80” OR 80” x 96”
Supplies:
- A legal copy of Meadowland Pattern by Then Came June
- all fabrics (see pattern)
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Power cord, foot control, slide on extension table or Sew Steady table
- 0mm or Straight Stitch Plate
- Patchwork Foot 1/4" (BERNINA owners use 37/37D/57/57D/97/97D)
- 6" x 24" Ruler
- 9.5" x 9.5" Square Ruler. Square Ruler can be larger than 9.5" but not smaller.
- Cutting mat 18" x 24"
- Rotary cutter
- Travel Iron (optional, we will have irons set up)
- Wool mat for pressing
- Best Press starch alternative
- Fabric marking pen or chalk
- 50wt cotton thread (Aurifil) to piece
- Fabric Scissors
- thread snips
- seam ripper
- 80/12 Microtex Needles
- Straight pins
- Wonder Clips

Skill Details: | Confident beginners welcome! Must have basic knowledge of your sewing machine and basic cutting skills. |
Requirements: | All machine brands welcome. Sewing machine with a straight stitch and 1/4" seam presser foot, or the ability to move the needle for 1/4" seam. |
