2025 Quilter's Road Rally Bus Trip

We will depart Richmond 7:00am on Tuesday July 22th and travel to 10 unique sewing stores and quilt shops for 2 days on a tour of independent retailers in VA, MD, & PA. If you joined us last year, we are visiting 6 of the same stores and 4 new.
We have contracted with Premiere #1 Limousine Service for our Motor Coach.

This bus trip is in conjunction with independent quilt shops participating in the 2025 All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop and is sponsored by Bobbin & Bolt and Byrne Sewing. Our route is based on shops between our two host stores and is not in any correlation with the regions established by the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop (as this event was planned months before regions were released.)

We will spend the night at the Hampton Inn Bowie, MD. Room rate is included in your registration fee. There are no single-occupancy rooms or optional up-charged for private rooms. If you are traveling along, you will be bunked with another Road Rally Rider.
The bus will return to Richmond at midnight the night of Wednesday, July 23rd.

Your hotel room, 2 dinners, breakfast, and bus fare are all included in your registration. We will have games, goody bags, commemorative T-shirts, and such a great time!

We will stop for lunch each day. Please bring lunch money as lunches are not provided. Breakfast options will be available through the hotel or adjacent to hotel.

Registration includes a double occupancy hotel room. Bring a buddy and we will room you together! If you're flying solo, you will be assigned a roommate.

All Registrations will give us their information via the Road Rally Info Form. Please do this after registration, thank you!
Road Rally Info Forms without payment will not be considered as valid attendees. We must have record of payment that matches info form for your seat on the bus to be valid.

Why Double Occupancy?
Well in order to plan this - we had to rent an entire hotel! Our bus from Richmond and the bus from Byrne Sewing are rendezvousing together for the night in Bowie, MD. We have to book two riders to a room so that we can all fit at the same hotel. At this time, there is not a pricing option for 1 person to have their own room. Please note any requests for handicapped accommodations when you fill out the Google Form after registration.

What to Bring?

Your overnight bag
Your 2025 All Mid Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine
Phone charger
Another bag for all of the goodies you are going to purchase
Refillable water bottle
Travel Pillow for napping
Comfortable shoes
Wear comfortable clothes
A small personal cooler if you want to bring your own snacks/breakfast
Sunglasses/Hat - you know how those bus windows can be at certain times of day! (there will be shades)
Don't forget medications
Entertainment for the bus such as a book or handwork project

*There is plenty of storage beneath the Motor coach. Consider that you will be responsible for your belongings and only bring what you can comfortably manage. Suitcases work better than 5-6 medium sized tote bags for example. We recommend that you have a name tag on every bag!
**Baggage and personal property are limited to that which can be stored in the overhead racks and luggage bays of the motor coach. Premiere #1 Limousine and Bobbin & Bolt are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property during the Quilter's Road Rally.

April 1 - Pricing Increases to $599
April 30 - Last day for guaranteed 100% Refund on Registration

Here Is a Map of the Gaskins Road Park & Ride Lot, Commuter Drive, Glen Allen, 23060. This is right around the corner from Bobbin & Bolt and is the pickup and drop off destination for our charter bus.

Admission includes 2 Day Bus Tour with 10 Shop stops, 3 Meals, Hotel accomodations for the evening, and a goody bag with commemorative Tshirt.
